This form of weariness is more in the mind than actual. At times the individual is assailed by an uncertainty or doubt that if he will have sufficient strength and ability to face life and work, but when put to the proof he usually accomplishes his tasks without difficulty. Hornbeam gives mental and physical strength. In convalescence, it helps patients who doubt whether they have enough bodily strength to walk or to use their limbs, or sufficient mental energy to face a return to work. In health, this remedy gives “Backbone” to those who feel weary in mind and body, and perhaps wake in the mornings uncertain of their strength to bear the burdens of the day. The Hornbeam tiredness is a “feeling” of tiredness which usually passes off as the individual becomes interested in his daily activities.

For those who believe that some part, of mind or body, needs to be strengthened before they can easily fulfil their work.

Dosage: Take about two drops from the stock bottle and add it in a little water, milk or any way convenient to consume. In urgent cases the doses may be given frequently or at interval of 2 to 3 hours depending upon case. In those unconscious, moisten the lips frequently.
